Not your typical image from me. Our little photogroup set the monthly assignment as ‘Smoke’ for February.
Shot using incense burning on a small table with a black background. Strobe to the left with a snoot and a reflector on the opposite side. Fairly narrow Aperture to increase depth of field and strobe on full power. In Photoshop levels were adjusted to make the background true black and then the image was inverted to change the background to white, Finally Hue & Saturation was used to change the colour of the smoke trail.
