This image was taken a couple of weeks ago in Howth. A glorious start to a new day with few clouds in the sky. I had to trample over knee high brambles to get in position for this shot, my legs were cut to shreds. I think it was worth though.
I used a CPL and a 3 stop ND to bring the shutter speed down to soften the waves crashing against the beach. I also used a 2 stop ND Grad at an angle to take some of the harshness off the morning sun.
What appeals to me in this image is how that warm morning light is hitting the cliff face particularly on the other edge by the lighthouse. I hope you enjoy it too.
