Hi John, I felt compelled to send you this note! Six months later I still find myself getting lost within the image, which hangs in my study over my computer. I find it incredibly relaxing just leaning back in my chair and staring in to that enchanting landscape.
The final printed image is the culmination of my journey in creating a piece of artwork that represents my view of the world around me. I take a great deal of pride in every print I produce; I want you to be equally happy. Signed Fine Art Giclée prints of my photographic images are available exclusively through this website, including framing options.
No matter how often it happens, I still get a thrill in knowing a customer has chosen to hang a piece of my artwork in their home or business. This page is set up to inform you about every facet of how I produce my prints, how they are matted and framed; right down to the care I take in packaging and shipping the final piece to you. Visit my gallery to find all of my Landscape and Fine Art photographs of Ireland and around the world.

Not only do I take great pride in the photographic pieces I create, I take equal care and pride in the final print. From paper, printer and ink selection, to matting and framing materials, everything is done with the sole purpose of ensuring my artwork is displayed at its best. Every component used has been carefully selected for its archival qualities to ensure maximum print longevity. Every print is personally inspected and signed by me. I personally Matte and Frame every single print and only when I am 100% satisfied do I carefully package it and ship it to you. Yes; I am obsessive about the quality of the final piece that arrives in the hands of my customers. Call me crazy but your satisfaction is really important.
I work closely with my local Fine Art Printer who has over 20 years of experience serving the printing needs of the Fine Art Photographic Industry. We choose from only the finest Hahnemühle papers and select the best paper finish for each individual print. Every print is produced on state of the art Epson Inkjet Printers using only original Epson inks. The combination of light fast pigment inks and heavy-weight (285~325gsm ) fine art, archival papers ensure that the print will provide lasting enjoyment and pleasure for decades to come. Each print is personally inspected and signed by me prior to shipment.
Daler Rowney “Snow White” mount board is used, which has a clean white, slightly textured finish that adds a real dimensionality to my prints. Each board is lignin-free, alkaline-sized, pH neutral and is calcium carbonate buffered to enhance its useful lifespan by minimising the effect of atmospheric pollutants. I use archival quality acid free mounting tapes and fixtures to mount my prints. In fact my mounting process ensures no adhesives touch the print itself, again maximising print longevity. I personally matte every print to ensure the highest quality is maintained. You can find out more about how I matte in
I use bespoke solid wood frames that have a wonderful subtle wood grain texture. Each frame is finished in a mid-brown or black colour depending on the print. When offered a chose the vast majority of my customers always select a natural wood finish. Each frame uses industry standard 2mm Optical Glass and backboard. The back of each frame is finished in a brown kraft paper, with piano wire hangers and cork bumpers to add the final professional touch. I personally frame every print to ensure the highest quality is maintained. You can find out more about how I frame in
