The sun slips behind a small cloud as it rises, casting a cool light upon the sea and brings a new day to Howth in Dublin in Ireland. It was just over a year ago when this image was taken, July 3rd, 2010 to be exact. I remember it so well as it was during one of the most magnificent sunrises I witnessed last year.

Sunrise in Phoenix Park, Dublin, Ireland with a tree stump in the forground and tress and fields in the background. This was in fact my first photographic trip to Phoenix Park, but it definitely won’t be the last. For those of you that may not know the Phoenix Park is the largest enclosed urban park in Europe and the home of our president, oh and also our Zoo.
