So today I am publishing the final post in my four part discussion on my recent purchase of an Apple mid-2011 iMac. So far I have stepped you through the reasons behind my decision to move from a MacPro to an iMac an unboxing fest along with a round of speed tests and the last post covered off a number of the things I disliked about the iMac. Today, by way of balancing that last post I will discuss a number of things I really like about my new iMac.
I’ve had about a month with the new iMac and after discussing some of the background story and completing some performance tests I’ve now had some proper time to live with the machine in normal day-in-day-out type of activity. I feel I can now talk with confidence about some of the stuff I like (planned post) and dislike (today’s topic).
One week in and I share my first impressions of the new mid-2011 Apple iMac. I complete the speed testing I started last week comparing the iMac against my old Mac Pro. I also share a number of unboxing photos.
