The sun is just above the horizon sending soft light upon the rocks of Greystones beach in Co. Wicklow, Ireland. Earlier in the week I published an image from a recent trip to Greystones in Co Wicklow which was a long exposure just before sunrise. I thought I would follow up today with an image of the actual sunrise.
And so I continue with the release of images from my recent travels with this image of mushrooms struggling for life on an early frost bitten morning in Cavan. I like the contrast between the colourful but dead leaves and the pale but living mushrooms. The scene offers an interesting contrast, and possibly a contradiction…
