A single snowdrop sits amongst fallen leaves with a group of snowdrops in the background out of focus.
I spent a very relaxing weekend in Dunboyne Castle Hotel which has some lovely grounds. It proved a perfect opportunity to take my new 70-200mm out for test run. Initial results prove it is as good as everyone says it is. Even wide open at f/2.8 it is tack sharp with beautiful bokeh.
First in a series of images captured during an early morning walk around the grounds. These Snowdrops were dotted all around and I had a lot of fun experimenting with a very shallow depth-of-field.
