Three pink lilies sitting on their pads, the foremost in sharp focus while the remaining two slip out of focus.
A second batch of images from the picturesque Kilruddery House & Gardens. This time all but one of the images are from my 2nd visit in early August. If you look really closely you may notice a trend in today’s images. No? Ok then they’re all of Lilies. The gardens contain a very large pond with one end full of these beautiful blooming pink lilies. I decided to do a B&W conversion on a couple as it really helps to emphasize the flower in a sea of dark foliage.
As a reminder Kilruddery House & Gardens are running a photograghy competition in conjunction with Dave McKane at the Institute of Photography and Canon Ireland and these will form some of the images I will consider entering.
