A Wicklow Seascape | The sun has just crested the horizon sending its warm golden light down to Naylor’s Cove in Bray, Co. Wicklow. The 2nd image from my recent visit to this location, this one being just after sunrise.
Well firstly let me start off by wishing you all a very happy New Year. One of the images that made it into my Top 10 for last year was a piece entitled A Line of Crocuses which I originally shared with you in March. I’d like to share an alternate composition of the same subject with you today.
Well it appears as if March is the month of the Purple Crocus, atleast according to this blog. This is the 3rd image I have posted and I have in fact published 5 to my portfolio. I mentioned earlier that these flowers, along with Tulips mark the beginning of Spring for me.
Another image I’ve pulled up from the archives, this dates back to August 2008 and my trusty old 40D and Sigma lens. The image is taken at a waterfall in Wicklow and is one of my early experiences of using Neutral Density filters with water. Camera: Canon EOS 40D Lens: Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 DC Macro…
Well yet again an unintended extended break, although this time just from actually publishing images as I have managed to get out on several occasions over the last few months including two trips to Amsterdam and two to Kilruddery House & Gardens. This is the first batch from my visit to Kilruddery House & Gardens…
4 New shots uploaded after a recent trip to Powerscourt Gardens and Waterfall. In between the showers I managed to get a couple of shots I was happy with. Still experimenting with my new Canon 40D and Lee Filter Kit but so far I’ve been very happy with the results.
