Tara over at MCI Dublin, a conferences and events planning firm, contacted me in early May wondering if I could provide prints to be used as Corporate Gifts for a group of Americans visiting in early June. Of course I was only too happy to see if I could assist and responded promptly with a few questions and a request for a call.
Tara was very responsive and in very short order we had mapped out a path. They wanted 114 prints, from a predetermined selection of my images. While the original request indicated a preference for framed prints we quickly established their budget would not stretch to that, and furthermore there was complexity for the guests to carry framed prints back to the U.S. to consider. Instead I suggested I provide fully matted prints, including backs, and sized to fit a standard frame. This still provided a great looking presentation, made carrying the prints back home a lot easier for the guests, and also fit the clients budget.
Tara and the team very quickly selected the 3 images they wanted prints of, and I set about working with my Fine Art Printer to finalise the images for print. With only 3 weeks we had a tight schedule to produce 114 prints so we knew we had to get working straight away. I agreed for my printer to deliver the prints in 3 lots which gave me the time needed to finalise each print by inspecting, signing, mounting and finishing them. Even with an order of 114 prints I still want to ensure each and every print gets a final inspection and is signed.
I delivered the 114 prints to a delighted client on June 5th.
I recently had an international client who wanted to gift each of their 112 guests with a striking Irish print. We approached John to help us in the delivery of this and it was such a wise decision! He was extremely helpful and beyond professional from the initial phone call right through to the prints being delivered to us. He listened to what we needed and worked with us to ensure the client was happy and our job was an easy one! It was my first experience working with John but hopefully not the last as I look forward to working with him again and showcasing Ireland’s natural beauty to more international guests!
Tara and the MCI Team were absolutely excellent. These kinds of projects can get complicated quickly, but when you have an engaged and responsive client they tend to run super smooth, just like this one.
