Last month I shared the first of (hopefully) a number of images from my 2015 visit to the stunning Isle of Skye in Scotland. Today I’d like to share another one, this time from Elgol.
This was my first trip to Scotland where photography was the primary objective, and also my very first visit to the Isle of Skye; and as I shared in my last post it really did leave me somewhat speechless. Around every bend in the road there was something spectacular to see; and after covering 1,600km on the trip I certainly took my fair share of bends 🙂 Elgol was one of the magical places I visited. I am in love with the sea, both its gentle beauty and raw power, and so any chance I get to photograph it I take. During this rather dramatic sunset, I stood on the beach spellbound as I watched the light change rapidly across the Cuillan Hills as the sun set.

As this is my first post for 2017 (hey, only 17 days late 😝) I would like to wish you all a happy, healthy and fulfilling 2017. I’m not one for new year resolutions or anything, however I do think it is an opportunity to reflect and perhaps reassess your priorities in life 😉
