I am just making final preparations to return for a few days to County Kerry at the end of the month with my good friend Johan Peijnenburg. This image was from my last trip there at the end of last year, and wow did I got some amazing weather. I have all my fingers and toes crossed for the same conditions again!
This was captured at Killarney’s Upper Lake in the early morning, after a beautiful sunrise at Ladies View a little further up in the mountains. This skeleton like tree captured my attention as I was passing by in the car. I found a safe place to park and walked back and was rewarded for the effort. Surrounded by tall green and yellow grasses, the mountains as a backdrop and some slow passing clouds made for a very pleasant hour of shooting.
