I am so excited to finally be able to announce these first two tours from my joint venture with the incredibly talented Athena Carey, under our new company Light, Land & Sea. We have spent the last 8 months developing what we believe are truly unique Photo Tours.
From the very beginning Athena and I had a clear vision… we believe that to take a memorable photograph it is not just a matter of pointing and shooting, but requires a genuine understanding of and connection to a location. We want our tour participants to immerse themselves in the locations we visit. Iconic landmarks like the Giant’s Causeway UNESCO World Heritage Site, Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, or the now famous Dark Hedges. We therefore partnered with a qualified local guide to enhance participants experience for several of the locations through history and folklore. This will help them create a connection that will make all the difference in their photographs.
Sounds interesting? Both six day adventures place an emphasis on outstanding photography while providing you with the opportunity to experience the culture, people, and landscape of Northern Ireland. Along with many stunning locations, both well known and hidden gems you will also enjoy the very best authentic local entertainment, quality cuisine, and a luxury four-star boutique hotel awarded ‘AA Hotel of the Year’ for Northern Ireland.
This is your chance to indulge your love of photography whilst at the same time sampling Northern Ireland at it’s very best. All levels of photographer are catered for, with two tours of no more than 12 participants, the first in June 2015, followed by another for more experienced photographers in September 2015.
