“Feel your emotions, Live true your passions, Keep still your mind.” ~ Geoffrey M. Gluckman
I am just making my final preparations to co-lead a Photowalk along the Dorset Coast this weekend. I talked before of these Photowalks when I attended one earlier this year in Donegal. This one however is the largest I’ve attended with 40+ photographers signed up to take part in the two day event. The Dorset Coastline also known as the Jurassic Coast is a Landscape Photographers idea of heaven and I am truly excited about the photographic possibilities it will offer me.
I imagine I’ll be publishing a lot of work from that trip over the coming weeks and months so I thought it best to publish one last image from my hometown before that starts. A long time social media friend and hugely talented photographer Johan Peijnenburg flew in from Switzerland a couple of weeks ago to meet me for the first time and we spent a great day and a half out shooting all my local haunts. This is the first image from that outing and you may recognise this little Slipway located in Sandycove near the 40 foot from my recent sunset image called Last Light at Sandycove. This however is a very different interpretation of that location using a combination of long exposure and Black and White to produce something a little more subtle.
