“My soul is full of longing for the secret of the sea, and the heart of the great ocean sends a thrilling pulse through me. ~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
The last evening of my trip to Inishowen in Donegal, I had planned to shoot sunset at Malin Head. After traveling up and standing on the cliff edge, buffeted by strong winds and nearly being swept away a number of times I decided to find a safer spot to shoot. On the drive back down I came across this tiny little sheltered Harbour. As the winds picked up the heavy clouds came rolling in off the mainland and headed out across the Atlantic. The sky was heavy with the promise of rain but it made for some dramatic movement. Standing in the sheltered harbour I was struck by the quietness around me as the clouds swept overhead.
