I recently shared an image of a Hoverfly resting on a Black Eyed Susan taken on a trip to the Japanese Gardens in Kildare. Well this image was actually taken a full 12 months ago. I was spending a weekend in Cavan with some friends and we took a walk along a forest road and came across a blue barrel lying by the road unused. There must have been something of interest though as a pair of Hoverflies were, well hovering by it. I quickly took out my camera and took a series of images. And they have been sitting in my Aperture library ever since.
