Well somewhat of an unplanned hiatus for me from an image point of view. I can’t believe it is nearly 2 months since I last produced an image. It’s not like I don’t have a fair few shots I’d like to work on and publish. Anyway I am back now 🙂
This is another image from my trip to Spain last September. The central part of the small hillside town of Orihuela is a classic old village with wonderful narrow streets and tall buildings ensuring pedestrians can go about there business in the cool shade.
Taken at 13:30 the sun was high and shadows harsh, in fact I blew out the sky just to ensure I got the details in the texture of the wall. I think the Sepia conversion here helps the viewer to focus and the wonderful textures and shadows.
