I was lucky enough to spend a long weekend down near both the ring of Kerry and Beara recently. The first day took me halfway around the Ring of Beara up to Dursey Island. The weather didn’t play nice for the entire day and I had pretty much given up hope and started to head back when suddenly the sodden clouds gave way to blue sky just before sunset. At that point it was a race to find a suitable location. Out came Google maps and with the sun setting quickly I came across a tiny little harbor off the beaten track. I had just about enough time to set-up and shoot a couple of frames.
